    <idPurp>Kartlaget viser områder som er viktig for en arts overlevelse i Bergen kommune. Vi kaller dette for en arts økologiske funksjonsområde. Dette er et eget vurderingstema i veilederen for konsekvensutredninger for klima og miljø (M-1941). Kartet inneholder i hovedsak funksjonsområder for rødlistede arter. Dette er arter som enten er nær truet, truet eller arter som vi har spesielt dårlig kunnskap om. Å ikke ta hensyn til truede arter og deres funksjonsområder i planprosesser gir grunnlag for innsigelse etter plan- og bygningsloven. Kartet er basert på kartlegginger utført i 2024 av Miljøfaglig utredning og Biota Naturkompetanse samt eksisterende ekspertkunnskap. Hvert funksjonsområde har en verdi basert på hvor store naturverdier som er der. Verdivurderingen følger veilederen for konsekvensutredninger for klima og miljø (M-1941). Det har ikke blitt gjort en systematisk kartlegging av alle arters funksjonsområder i kommunen. Areal uten registreringer må derfor leses som at området ikke er kartlagt for arters funksjonsområde. Det er ikke lagt på en buffersone rundt funksjonsområdene. I noen tilfeller kan det være aktuelt å ivareta også et areal i randsonen av funksjonsområdet. Dette gjelder for eksempel for fugler som er følsomme for forstyrrelser. Dette kartet viser arters leveområder/funksjonsområder, til forskjell fra artsregistreringer i Artskart som viser stedet hvor arten ble funnet. Artene som lever i funksjonsområdene er også registrert i Artsdatabankens Artskart.</idPurp>
